My QTH: Mollina

The town of Mollina is situated in the North of the province of Málaga. Mollina is 60 km of the capital, surrounded by the town of Humilladero, Fuente de Piedra, Alameda and Antequera. Mollina altitude is 480 meter below the sea level. In adittion, there aren’t natural barriers, which make easy communications with the province. Now, the population is about 4052 people, which are called “mollinatos” and “mollinatas”

 

The main production is the wine, someone of them are very famous, like Carpe Diem, Gadea and Montespejo. Pastry products are also very important, for example, pestiños, borrachuelos and magdalenas. Traditional dishes are porra and gazpacho, in the summer, and migas and porrillas calientes in winter.
